The Access Initiative exists to make Private Pay Practitioners resources more accessible to BIPOC therapists and healers building sustainable practices.
Why This Exists
I built Private Pay Practitioners to help therapists leave insurance and build sustainable practices. But I also know that the road to private pay isn't the same for everyone.
BIPOC practitioners often work against steeper odds. The obligation to serve your community at reduced rates. The inherited doubt about whether you've earned the right to charge what you need. The pressure to be accessible to everyone while trying to build a practice that can actually sustain you. Less access to mentorship. Fewer examples of what's possible.
These aren't personal failures. They're systemic pressures. And they deserve to be named.
The Access Initiative is my way of making sure those barriers don't keep you from getting the support you need to build the practice you want.
